Today I've been cleaning house with my NEW SHAKLEE products! It was another performance test in the Short Household.

Today I used Shaklee's Basic-H2 on practically EVERYTHING! First I cleaned all the windows with the Basic-H2 mixed 2 drops:16 oz. water. I sprayed like I normally do with Windex and cleaned with a microfiber cloth. (I didn't go through a TON of paper towels that way.) Worked GREAT! Honestly- the only difference I see between the Basic-H2 and the Windex is that there isn't an amonia smell.

Next I dusted with the Basic-H2 mixed 1/4 tsp:16 oz water. I used it in the Get Clean spray bottle and sprayed the towel just as I would using any kind of furniture polish. Also worked FANTASTIC. It made everything shine just as well as the Pledge does and didn't leave that waxy film on everything. It did a better job in my opinion on our entertainment stand next to the TV which is a shiny black color with glass shelves. I didn't have to switch over to Windex today. I read that the Basic-H2 is non-magnetic so it is supposed to repel dust. We'll see what things look like next week when it's time to dust again.

Since my Basic-G (Germicide) won't be in until tomorrow I tried the Basic-H2 on the toilets following up with a little bleach to finish the job. I measured 1 tbsp into the toilet, scrubbed for about 20 seconds with the toilet brush, let it sit for about 2 minutes and finished with a flush. Viola! Clean toilets!

For those of you who aren't aware I have a little boy who is the spit-up king! He suffers from a little bit of acid reflux and I'm really hoping he grows out of it soon. It wasn't too bad until he started eating solids and becoming mobile. Now I'll find little spots of peach spit up in wierd places- almost like when you're trying to potty train a dog you keep stumbling onto little pee spots. So today I gave the Shaklee Nature Bright a test using it mixed 2 tbsp: 16 oz water. Worked just as well as the Reslove I normally use and on the up side it's about $23/gallon cheaper. On top of that it's non-toxic, biodegradable, and completely safe to use around the kiddos.

Well, I'm off to use the Basic-H2 on the bathroom counter tops and then to mop the floors. Both of the boys FINALLY have gone down for their naps. I decided to write this blog while I was waiting for them to drift off to sleep.

Before I sign off- I stumbled upon this website today. It shows the cost comparisons of the Shaklee Get Clean products against some of the leading national brands such as Clorox, Fantastic, 409, Woolite, Resolve, Lysol, Cascade, and Tide. Take a peek. I'm almost betting you'll be VERY surprised and how much cheaper the Shaklee products are in some comparisons. Check out this link:

And if you happen to want to look into more information about Shaklee, I decided to become a Shaklee Distributor after becoming CRAZY about some of their products. You can visit my website for more information.
